The TERRA III subwoofer from ORBID SOUND ^® is a top-class active subwoofer that precisely reproduces even the lowest frequencies. This is ensured by a heavy-duty 12″ chassis combined with a powerful Class D amplifier.

Whether to support stereo speakers or for use in a home cinema – the TERRA III always provides enough foundation.

The TERRA III subwoofer can be combined with all  ORBID SOUND ^® loudspeakers of the old and new generation and, of course, also with third-party brands.

Of course, all our HALO sets can be combined with the TERRA III subwoofer if the TERRA II does not seem sufficient for the room size and personal taste.

The TERRA III subwoofer is the largest member of the subwoofer family from ORBID SOUND ^®

Equipped with a high-quality 12″ bass chassis with magnetic core drilling and cast aluminum basket, this subwoofer provides the desired bass storm.

The rear-mounted Class D power amplifier delivers powerful yet controlled bass. With a sine wave output of 250 W at 8 ohms (500 W at 4 ohms) and ample power reserves, it easily handles this task.

The crossover frequency (from 200 to 40 Hz) can be easily adjusted using a rotary control (variable low-pass). An integrated bass boost provides a 3 dB boost at 40 Hz.

Depending on the location of the subwoofer, the TERRA III subwoofer can be optimally adjusted to the main speakers using a continuously adjustable phase shifter (0-180 degrees).
