A 1″ silk dome tweeter is used for the high-frequency range. Its funnel-shaped attachment (wave guide) ensures that the higher frequencies are evenly distributed throughout the room. This creates a natural vibrancy and a large soundstage, allowing the NESO bookshelf speaker to play with incredible ease, which is certainly considered exceptional in this price range.

The high-quality 6.5″ bass-midrange driver delivers powerful dynamics in the lower registers and is also responsible for the clear reproduction of the midrange in this 2-way system. Our specially developed ORBID SOUND® ^crossover technology, featuring the highest-quality components, ensures perfect tuning and precision.

As is typical with ORBID SOUND ^® , you have the opportunity to help design your dream speaker. In addition to choosing a color (according to the RAL chart), you also have the option of selecting a handcrafted aluminum decorative ring for the bass speaker, giving your NESO bookshelf speaker a custom look tailored to your needs and preferences.

This model also comes with an optional fabric cover, which we can customize in five different colors. This allows you to customize your speakers to your interior.

Top sound – versatile in use

The NESO compact loudspeaker is versatile and can easily be expanded into a 2.1 system with a suitable subwoofer  , e.g. the  TERRRA I.

With our perfectly matched  surround components,  this model can also be integrated as  a front speaker  in a  5.1 surround system  .

history

Since the early 1970s, 2-way systems have been an integral part of the ORBID SOUND ^® product range . The NEPTUN model was born with the Orbid Sound Optimal series from the mid/late 1970s and immediately launched into a successful future.

However, this two-way wonder wasn’t just used in homes. Due to its sound quality and high level stability, these speakers were also installed in restaurants, creating a great atmosphere for many guests and countless parties.

Committed to this legacy, we launched NESO as a worthy successor. It was time for a name change, which naturally has its origins in the tradition of ORBID SOUND ^® in our solar system. NESO is the moon that orbits the planet Neptune. A name that is a tribute, and not without reason.
