Our ‘small’ 2-way system, the SABERO floorstanding speaker, is the entry point into the world of floorstanding speakers. Despite its slim format and low height, this speaker should not be underestimated; it delivers a surprisingly impressive performance. In addition to impressive spatiality and soundstage, the SABERO floorstanding speaker displays the liveliness and dynamics typical of ORBID SOUND ^® speakers. This small sonic wonder is ideal for music lovers who have limited space or who generally don’t want large speakers in their room. Another advantage: thanks to its low height of just 72 cm, this speaker can also be easily placed under a window. This can be opened without any space conflicts.

This is the technical equipment of the SABERO floorstanding loudspeaker

This model’s configuration is identical to the NESO model. A 1″ silk dome tweeter is used for the high frequency range. Its funnel-shaped attachment (wave guide) ensures that the higher frequencies are evenly distributed throughout the room. This creates a lively, crisp soundstage and allows the SABERO to play with a fascinating ease, which is certainly exceptional in this price range.

The high-quality 6.5″ bass-midrange driver delivers powerful dynamics in the lower registers and is also responsible for the precise and clear reproduction of the midrange in this 2-way system. Our specially developed ORBID SOUND® ^crossover technology with the highest-quality components ensures perfect tuning and precision.

The SABERO floorstanding speaker is a sleek, fun-loving speaker that packs more punch than you’d expect from its dimensions. With its understated exterior, it doesn’t visually intrude on the foreground. Acoustically, however, it leaves nothing to be desired in this class.

As is usual with ORBID SOUND ^® , you have the opportunity to help design your desired speaker. In addition to choosing a color (according to RAL), you also have the option of selecting a handcrafted aluminum decorative ring for the bass-midrange speaker.

This model also comes with an optional fabric cover, which we can customize in five different colors. This allows you to customize your speakers to your interior.

History of the SABERO floorstanding loudspeaker

The SABERO ‘s lineage has a long tradition, as the slim 2-way model was already part of the ORBID range in the late 1970s. Together with the NEPTUN model, the 2-way loudspeaker, then known as the SATURN, represented the entry point into the hi-fi world and the gateway to the ORBID SOUND ^® universe.
