TRITON Cinema effect speakers: three directions, one goal

The TRITON CINEMA effect speaker, with its two side-mounted bass-midrange drivers and a front-facing tweeter, brings effects into the room in three directions simultaneously. This makes ambient sound in movies seem surprisingly vivid and incredibly spacious. The Triton Cinema effect speaker is specially designed for use as a rear speaker in a 5.1 or 7.1 setup to get the most out of your surround system.

With the TRITON effect speaker, we have developed the first ‘pure’ rear speaker at ORBID SOUND ^® . The column design is practical for all customers who don’t have the option of mounting the TRITON effect speaker directly to the wall.

The TRITON CINEMA columns, like the matching NOVA center speaker, can be perfectly combined with old and new generation ORBID SOUND ^® loudspeakers, including those from other manufacturers. They are characterized by high level stability and work seamlessly with high-efficiency models (such as the Mini Galaxy or Jupiter).

The naming – entirely ORBID SOUND

When naming the TRITON Cinema effect speakers,  we deliberately stayed true to our solar system and the ORBID SOUND ^® universe. Since this effect speaker, with its three dispersion directions and outstanding sound characteristics, creates a real buzz in any surround system, we chose the name of a moon orbiting the planet Neptune.
