Our KOMET height speaker is specially designed for sound formats used in ceiling areas, but can also be used on the wall as a height speaker.

This is the equipment of the KOMET height speaker

The KOMET effect loudspeaker, specially developed for use on the ceiling, impresses with its low height of only 8 cm.

It features a 5″ bass-midrange speaker and two 1″ dome tweeters. The two silk domes with waveguides are positioned to the right and left of the bass-midrange speaker. Thanks to the slight inclination in conjunction with the horn attachment (waveguide), the KOMET tweeter impresses not only with its clarity but also with its extreme spatiality.

For special audio formats such as Auro 3D and Atmos (both registered trademarks of the respective manufacturers), which extend the sound stage upwards in both film and music, the KOMET height speaker (or ceiling speaker) is the perfect addition to an existing ORBID SOUND ^® surround system.
