Features and characteristics of the NOVA Center Speaker

The two bass-midrange speakers are characterized by high power handling and high efficiency. Combined with the open and clear-sounding tweeter with waveguide, the NOVA Center Speaker is ideal for integration into (and beyond) your ORBID SOUND® ^surround  system.

Another advantage is the high flexibility of this speaker. Regardless of whether you use speakers from the old or new Orbid generation, the NOVA center speaker always fits perfectly into your setup. This makes upgrading existing ORBID SOUND ^® stereo systems to a surround set a breeze. Many customers have already confirmed this.

Naming of the NOVA Center Speaker

We put some thought into the name, as the name ‘Nova’ has actually been used since the late 1970s by the ORBID SOUND ^® 4-way system with a 30cm bass driver. However, due to the excellent sound characteristics and the fact that the center speaker is the heart of vocal reproduction in a surround system, we decided on this ‘explosive’ name.
