The PALUM floorstanding speaker is the top model in this unique series. Thanks to its impressive size, this speaker demonstrates what you can expect from it, even without music.

Powerful in the bass range, detailed and accentuated in the midrange, and very refined in the higher registers, this ORBID SOUND ^® floorstanding speaker always plays with ease, even at high volumes. The music envelops the listener and immerses them deeply – ensuring a particularly intense experience. Its unobtrusive nature characterizes this speaker as a good friend who always knows the right path and is always ready to take you on an interesting and varied musical journey.

The handcrafted ORBID SOUND ^®  PALUM floorstanding speaker is equipped with three 8-inch bass-midrange drivers. A specially coated polypropylene membrane ensures powerful bass. The large Air Motion Transformer is housed in a separate enclosure, separate from the main body. The excellent transient response ensures very clear highs and a wide dispersion pattern. The distance from the main cabinet was deliberately chosen and not only creates an exciting visual impression, but also enhances the spatial effect.

For the body and tweeter enclosure of the PALUM , we use 25mm thick MDF material to minimize natural vibration. The base plate, made of 30mm thick MDF, includes four highly effective vibration dampers made of artificial coral, which ensure effective decoupling from the floor.

The two housing parts and the base plate are firmly connected either by screwed balls made of brushed stainless steel or solid blocks of varnished wood.

The custom-made ORBID SOUND® ^terminal , made of 8mm thick aluminum, is equipped with gold-plated binding posts from Mundorf. These ensure secure cable connection or optimal connection of your banana terminals.

Whether these speakers are equipped with stainless steel spheres or with solid blocks of lacquered wood is up to you as the customer – depending on your individual taste and the design of your living space.

You also have a choice when it comes to the finish: whether you prefer the speaker in a subtle satin finish or a sophisticated high-gloss finish, the PALUM is both design-oriented and elegant. Please understand that we have to request the price for a high-gloss finish from the paint shop first.
